Naly Rice Keynotes The 5th Annual Women’s Summit in Maryland

Naly Rice served as the keynote speaker at The 5th Annual Women’s Summit in Calvert County, Maryland to an audience of women business professionals and entrepreneurs. The summit was held at the College of Southern Maryland Prince Frederick Campus in Prince Frederick, Maryland.

Organized by the Calvert Chamber of Commerce in Maryland, the day began at 8am with breakfast and morning networking. There were a variety of trade show tables set up for sponsors, local businesses, and affiliates. Speakers Wynne Briscoe and Eleanor Nelson spoke alongside Naly Rice’s keynote speech.

Naly spoke for roughly an hour with a presentation sharing her journey from employee to entrepreneur and discussing major topics among female founders including work/life balance, funding and financing, technology, and marketing/branding. Her keynote speech stayed interactive with feedback, laughter, nodding heads, hands raised, and cheering throughout her speech with the highs and lows of business ownership as a woman. The keynote was capped off with 15 to 20 minutes of questions and answers with the audience and shared discussions.

Guest speakers from local businesses shared the stage with advice on leadership, health, wellness and personal development. The summit winded down with appetizers, networking, and photos. A large variety of door prizes and gifts were raffled off to a cheering crowd.

“Thank you to everyone who came, was involved with organizing the event, and other guest speakers. I’m so humbled and grateful by the turnout and firmly believe that women supporting women in business ownership is a key factor in promoting success. I loved meeting everyone, making new colleagues and sharing stories from the lows and highs of business ownership. Thank you once again, I wish you all continued success, and I look forward to future events!”
