Meet Naly

Naly Rice is an American Entrepreneur, Writer, and Keynote Speaker of Hmong desent.  Born in California on July 8, 1988 and raised in Syracuse, New York.  She currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland where her company is based.

Naly is the fifth of six children to Hmong immigrants who escaped the Vietnam War in the 1970’s. She is a first-born-generation Hmong-American who is carving a path all her own.

As the keynote speaker at the 2019 Women2Women Conference in Maryland, she shares her hilarious, heart breaking, and relatable stories of going from tech employee to entrepreneur and shares all her lessons along the way.

To say Naly is a multi-talented individual is an understatement as you peel back the layers of this burgeoning entrepreneurial star.

Growing up in poverty like many minorities, she had her first job at 14 working at a paper factory alongside her mother to help make ends meet.  Her time there sparked her interest in graphic design learning about all different paper types and finishes.  She taught herself graphic design using her brother’s college textbook and got her first client at 16 when she posted an ad on craiglist.  She made $150 in cash on the spot and designed a tradeshow flyer for a lotion and cosmetics company.
